The Far Reaches
Atop A Wall · Book 1
The dark end of the Wall, where the trees close overhead. No one from Briar has ever gone there.
Past Highwall, the Wall drops, and the trees beside it grow taller and closer. Far enough along, their branches meet overhead and the light begins to thin. Further still, the sun barely reaches the stone at all.
Not much news comes back from there. The traders who travel that way don’t stay the night, and they don’t say much past their business.
Somewhere in that dark is a city built beneath the trees, where Corvain rules. That is where the Rooks carried Lira.
